When I was a kid, the Sears Catalog gave me the ultimate wish list for a birthday, school, special gifts and now it transcends into Christmas. As a nonprofit founder, I was recommended to create a similar list but for prospective donors. However, this wishlist isn't what you think.

I may have been advised to create one, but they didn't tell me how to do it correctly. A nonprofit's Christmas wish list should be on infrastructure. Money is good, but it won't solve your problems. Your focus on the problems called strategy will solve your problems.

John Lee Dumas hosts his daily podcast with famous and successful entrepreneurs with great information for immediate application.

The inevitable of everything must come to an end, now applies to 2016. Another year is going in the books. As we welcome in 2017, I like to look back and count my wins and learn from my mistakes. I'm very grateful for launching and releasing a podcast focusing on social entrepreneurship. My next goal is to be a leader in this space.

For all my nonprofit startups and founders, I feel your pain. This podcast is a little bit more special to me than others because it's about our survival. Nonprofit founders have so much on their plate. Social good takes a toll on you mentally and physically. The sacrifices one makes are dire.
